This site contains complete information about the pilot IMDS system installed at the Hong Kong Bank Building in San Francisco, California, in 1998. Additional information about this project is available at the Diagnostics Project website.

This project was completed in 1999 and thus the information here is historic and may not be current. In 2000 and 2001 the building management independently implemented a controls retrofit which expanded the scope of the IMDS to all building systems and control functions. Information on this can be found here and here. There is also a specification for the second-generation site installed in Sacramento in 2002.
